31 DAYS OF HORROR: DAY 3 – The Lure | The Institute of Idle Time

I’ve decided to subject myself to 31 days of horror films for the month of October. It will be a mix of rewatching stuff I haven’t seen in awhile and brand new things. Day 3:

Day 3: THE LURE. Polish horror fairytale musical about mermaids? Really dug the songs but but unsure how I felt about whole thing.

Horror musicals are my jam as PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE is legit one of my favorite movies ever. While this one has some catchy as hell tunes, I don’t know how I invested I felt in the story. Visually luscious and has a lot of ear-worms, I didn’t find myself caring about anyone. I just wanted to hear more music and look at cool night clubs.
