The nominations for the 88th Academy Awards were announced last week, thus kicking off the first of several multiple-movie weekends for cinema lovers around the world.

There are eight films nominated for Best Picture this year. So between now and February 28th, eight Idlers will be previewing the award potential of each of the nominees.
