Deerhunter – Fading Frontier
This isn’t my first trip down Deerhunter Lane, because WH has been burying them like cat turds deep in the Idle Time lists for over a decade with the same regularity that I use for Jack White projects, forcing me on repeated grim slogs through effects-pedal haze and disaffected, warbly crooning. Oh, wait. Maybe it was MMDG, and/or maybe it was Deerhoof. Doesn’t matter.
