It was intended to be a bye week of sorts for the ANAD relaunch. No new titles were scheduled to debut this week, but a handful of series saw new issues hit the shelves to help bring 2015 to a close.

Because of a shipping error, however, retailers received certain books that were intended for release on January 6 (week 14 of the ANAD Marvel, for those of you following along). Marvel authorized retailers to sell these books on New Year’s Day, January 1st. So you’re either looking at a second round of week 13 offerings if headed to your LCS later than usual, or bonus books in your pull folder for next week.

Daredevil making everyone forget who he is except for Foghat is about as good a trick as bringing the original X-Men to the present with a time portal. Even so, what a great story! As Daredevil explains, he can take risks again. If the villains happen to be as cool at twenty-fingered crimelords, then I am excited to see what comes of this story. Garney’s art seems a respectful nod to Miller’s interpretation, and I’m down with the new costume and Blindspot. This is a book I’ll look forward to next month. – RF
